TECP Classes

Therapeutic Early Childhood Classroom program is characterized by a positive, child-centered approach that helps children heal from traumatic or abusive experiences. All aspects of the program focus on the specific issues of children from multi-stressed families who have experienced trauma, abuse, stress, or are at-risk for such experiences.

Children come to a wobbler, toddler, and preschool classroom four mornings each week, experiencing many opportunities to practice social skills, build self-esteem, and learn to make positive choices.  Individualized goals focusing on social and emotional health are developed for each child and monitored by skilled teachers, who provide nurturing one-one-one support in a context of fun, developmentally appropriate learning activities.
